Magnatrak Prepared Particles Natural Hemp is a ready-to-use, freshly prepared hempseed in a 1 litre size. It saves you the time and mess of soaking and boiling your own hemp, and it is ready to feed straight from the container.
Magnatrak describes these particles as PVA friendly, with a long shelf life that means minimal waste and good value. The manufacturing process gives a high leakage of natural oils and flavour into the water, which is exactly what makes hemp such a well-known fish attractor.
Why hemp works
Hempseed is one of the classic particle baits. Its small seeds and oily, nutty smell build a carpet of feed on the bottom that keeps fish rooting around in your swim for long periods, without filling them up quickly. Carp, tench, bream, roach, chub and barbel all respond well to it, and its dark colour also helps hide your rig and hookbait.
The oils that leak out of prepared hemp create a slick and a flavour trail that draws fish in from further away, which is why so many anglers use it as the base of their feed.
How to use it
Introduce it with a bait dropper, spod, catapult or pole pot to build a bed of feed, or mix it with pellets, corn, groundbait or other particles. Because it is PVA friendly, it can go into PVA bags and mesh stick mixes without melting them. Fish a hookbait such as corn, a pellet, caster or a hair-rigged boilie over the top, or a few grains of hemp on a small hook for roach.

Compatibility
