Description
Ringers Sweet Fishmeal Groundbait 1kg
Ringers Sweet Fishmeal Groundbait combines premium fishmeal with a sweet caramel flavouring, a pairing that has proved very effective on modern stillwaters. It is designed as an attractor to build a feeding area in your swim, drawing fish in and holding them there, rather than as a hookbait.
Ringers is a well-known name in UK match and pleasure fishing, and its groundbaits are used on commercials up and down the country. This sweet fishmeal mix is especially effective for bream and suits lakes and commercial fisheries, with its best results usually coming in the warmer months when fish are actively feeding.
Mixing it
Follow the instructions on the packaging. As a general guide, add water gradually and mix thoroughly, then leave the mix to absorb the water before using it. For Method feeder fishing, mix it a little firmer so it holds on the feeder through the cast; for loose balling or catapulting, mix it slightly looser so it breaks down quickly on the bottom.
Using it on the bank
Start by introducing a few balls to build your swim, then top up little and often through the session. You can add pellets, corn or dead maggots to the mix to give the fish something extra to find. Riddling the groundbait after mixing removes lumps and gives an even consistency.
