Description
King Arms Input Valves with O-Rings for 4.5mm & 6mm M1 Carbine Magazines
These King Arms input valves come with O-rings and are listed for its M1 Carbine magazines in 4.5mm and 6mm versions. The input valve, also called the fill valve, is where gas goes into the magazine when you charge it. If it leaks, the magazine slowly empties itself in your pouch and you start the game with less gas than you expect.
King Arms is a long-established Hong Kong airsoft manufacturer, known for gas blowback rifles and pistols, including historically styled replicas such as its M1 Carbine.
Signs of a worn fill valve
Common signs are a hiss or frost at the base of the magazine, gas spitting back while filling, and a magazine that is empty the next morning after being filled. Grit on the valve or a tired O-ring is often the cause, and a new valve with fresh O-rings is a cheap and quick fix.
Because the O-rings are supplied, you can refresh the whole seal at once rather than reusing a worn ring.
Fitting
Release all the gas from the magazine first, as the valve is under pressure. Unscrew the old valve with the correct valve key, clean the seat, fit the new O-rings and valve, and tighten it snugly without over-tightening. Refill in short bursts and check for leaks with a little soapy water.
If you are not confident working on your replica, have the part fitted by an experienced technician.

Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the valves and seals every few fills, store magazines with a little gas in them so the seals stay supple, and never use petroleum-based oils or solvents on O-rings. Keep spare valves and O-rings in a sealed bag away from heat and sunlight so the rubber does not dry out.
Keep the gas can nozzle clean, as grit carried into the fill valve is a common cause of leaks.
Who is it for?
They suit King Arms M1 Carbine owners who look after their own magazines and want spare fill valves on hand.
Please note: Gas, the valve key and magazines are not included.
