Description
Big Dragon RG-42 Dummy Metal Russian Fragmentation Grenade
This is a Big Dragon dummy replica of the RG-42, a Russian fragmentation grenade used from the Second World War onwards. It is a metal display and loadout piece, made to look like the real thing, and it is a dummy, so it is not a working device.
Dummy grenades are popular with re-enactors, collectors and milsim players who want their kit to look authentic. The RG-42’s simple cylindrical body and fuse make it a natural fit for WWII Soviet, Cold War and Eastern Bloc loadouts.
Design
The RG-42 has a plain cylindrical body with a fuse assembly, lever and pin on top. As a metal dummy, this replica has a realistic weight and feel in the hand and in a pouch, which helps it look and behave like the real item when you are moving around.
Please check the product photos for the exact finish and markings of this replica.
Using it
Carry it in a grenade pouch or on a belt to complete a loadout, or use it as part of a display alongside other Soviet or Russian kit. At games, dummy grenades are worn for looks only; check your site’s rules, as some do not allow realistic dummies to be carried on the field.
