Description
[Cybergun] Tokyo Marui D90 High Cycle (Olive Drab)
The Tokyo Marui D90 High Cycle is an electric airsoft replica (AEG) in the style of the FN P90 family, finished in olive drab and supplied under the Cybergun licence as named. It belongs to Tokyo Marui’s High Cycle range, which is tuned for a higher rate of fire than Marui’s standard AEGs, so it delivers fast, aggressive full-auto in a compact bullpup package.
Tokyo Marui is the Japanese manufacturer behind many of airsoft’s benchmark designs, and its P90-pattern replicas are known for their light weight, comfortable handling and consistent performance. The olive drab finish gives a military look that works well with woodland and green-toned loadouts. It suits CQB players and collectors who want something a little different from the usual black SMG.
The P90 layout
The P90 family is built around a bullpup layout: the action sits behind the grip, so the overall length is short for the barrel length, and the magazine lies flat along the top of the receiver. The thumbhole-style grip and integrated trigger guard give a very secure hold, and the shape tucks neatly into the shoulder.
Tokyo Marui also offers longer-barrelled P90-family versions in its High Cycle range, so please check the product photos for the barrel length and sights fitted to this olive drab model, and ask us if you need a detail confirmed.
High Cycle performance
Marui’s High Cycle replicas are set up for a noticeably faster rate of fire than the standard models, which makes them very effective for laying down fire in close-quarters games. The faster cycle works the internals harder, so they are designed around Marui’s recommended battery; check the manual and avoid higher-voltage packs unless it approves them.
As with any full-auto replica, use short, controlled bursts to make the most of your magazine and to give the gearbox a rest. Check your site’s rules on rate of fire and full-auto use.
Getting started
Charge a suitable battery fully and fit it as described in the manual. Load the magazine, start with the hop-up turned off and add hop a little at a time until BBs fly flat. Good seamless 0.20g to 0.25g BBs are a sensible starting point. Have the replica chronographed at your site before play.
Key features

- Cybergun licensed, as named
- Top-mounted magazine
- Compact, comfortable handling
- Olive drab finish
Compatibility
The replica takes Tokyo Marui P90-pattern AEG magazines; magazines from other brands may differ in fit, so test spares before buying several. Battery space in a P90-pattern replica is small, so check the size and connector in the manual before buying a battery, and check the model before ordering parts.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it separately at a sensible storage charge, rather than leaving it connected inside the replica. Charge LiPo batteries with a proper balance charger, keep them in a LiPo-safe bag and never leave them charging unattended; NiMH packs should be charged with a smart charger that stops when the pack is full.
Run a cleaning rod with a lightly dampened patch through the inner barrel from time to time to clear dirt and residue, which keeps the hop-up consistent. Use good-quality seamless BBs, never reuse BBs that have been on the ground, and wipe the outside over after damp or muddy games. Leave gearbox work, shimming and spring changes to a competent technician.
Keep the top-mounted magazine and its feed area clean and free from grit, as the P90 magazine is exposed on top of the receiver.
Who is it for?
The Tokyo Marui D90 High Cycle is for CQB players who want a fast-firing, compact P90-pattern replica in olive drab, and for collectors of Marui’s High Cycle range.
Please note: A battery, charger and BBs are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye protection, and full-face protection where your site requires it, when using or testing any airsoft replica.
