Description
Mad Max Gas Shells for FS0521 (24 Rounds)
These are Mad Max gas shells for the FS0521 double barrel shotgun, listed as 24 rounds, as named. Mad Max double barrel gas shotguns in the UK are Hwasan-made, and use MOSCART-style gas shells: each shell holds both the gas and the BBs, and is loaded into the breech like a real shotgun cartridge.
Spare shells let you reload faster and stay in the game for longer. With a double barrel shotgun you can only carry two shots in the gun, so a pocket or bandolier of ready-filled shells makes a real difference.
How the shells work
A UK retailer describes the shells for the Mad Max double barrel shotgun as filled with gas by pulling them apart and filling them like any other gas magazine, with BBs loaded into the front of each shell by hand or with a speed loader. When the trigger is pulled, the shell releases gas and fires its BBs.
The 24 rounds in the name is how we list it; please check the product photos for the pack quantity and whether this refers to the BB capacity per shell.
Using them
Fill and load shells before the game so they are ready to go, and do not overfill with gas. Keep filled shells out of direct sunlight and warm in cold weather, as gas performance drops when cold.

Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the shell’s seals and fill valve every few fills to keep them supple, and do not use petroleum-based oils. Store shells with a little gas in them, never loaded with BBs, in a cool, dry place.
Check shells for cracks and leaks before games; a leaking shell will lose power. Keep shells clean of mud and grit, which can damage seals.
