Description

Ace 1 Arms HPA AR/M4 Airsoft Rifle – Selector Switch

This is a replacement selector switch for the Ace 1 Arms HPA AR/M4 airsoft rifle. The selector is the lever above the trigger that you use to move between safe and the firing modes, so it is one of the parts you handle most often, and a worn, damaged or lost selector can stop the rifle being used safely.

Having the right spares on hand keeps an HPA rifle running between games, and genuine parts made for your rifle are the simplest way to be sure of a good fit. We list a range of Ace 1 Arms spares for this rifle, including ETUs, inner barrels, a nozzle and a selector switch, so you can maintain, repair or adapt your rifle without hunting around.

What it does

On an AR-pattern rifle, the selector lever sits on the side of the lower receiver above the trigger. Rotating it changes the mode the rifle is set to, and on an electronically controlled HPA rifle the position of the selector is read by the electronic trigger unit (ETU), which then fires accordingly.

A spare selector is useful if the original has been damaged or lost, or if you are rebuilding a rifle and want fresh parts. Check the product photos for its exact shape and finish.

Fitting and setting up

Always make sure the rifle is unloaded, the air is disconnected and any ETU battery is removed before working on the selector. Selector parts on AR-pattern rifles usually sit between the receiver and grip area, so fitting may involve removing the grip and other small parts; follow the rifle’s manual and work slowly.

After fitting, check that the selector moves positively into each position and that the rifle behaves correctly in safe before reconnecting the air.

Compatibility

This part is listed for the Ace 1 Arms HPA AR/M4 airsoft rifle sold in our shop. It is not listed as a universal part, so please check your rifle’s make and model before ordering.

Care and maintenance

Work on the rifle only with the air disconnected and the line de-gassed, and keep small parts in a tray so nothing goes missing. Keep spare parts in their packaging, somewhere clean and dry, until you need them. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs, as dirt and damaged BBs are the main cause of jams and wear in any airsoft rifle.

Who is it for?

This selector switch suits owners of the Ace 1 Arms HPA AR/M4 rifle who need a replacement, want a spare in the kit bag, or are rebuilding a rifle.

Please note: We are unable to list further technical details for this part; please check the product photos or contact us before ordering if you need to confirm fitment. Fitting parts to an HPA rifle should be done with the air disconnected and de-gassed; if you are not confident, ask a qualified airsoft technician.
