This black ACM kill flash is made to fit replica 552 and 551 style holographic sights. It is a honeycomb filter that sits over the front window of the sight to reduce the glint of sunlight reflecting off the glass.

How it works
The honeycomb cells act like a cluster of tiny tubes. Light coming straight through reaches the lens as normal, while light arriving at an angle is blocked, so far less sunlight bounces back off the glass towards anyone looking your way. You may notice the view is slightly darker, which is the usual trade-off for reduced glare.
It also gives the front lens a little protection from twigs, knocks and stray BBs, which is useful on replica optics with thinner glass.
