ACM Red Dot Sight/Scope Lens Protector (RIS Rail – Black)
The ACM Red Dot Sight/Scope Lens Protector is a black lens protector that mounts on an RIS rail in front of your optic. It sits between the target and your red dot or scope, so that a direct BB hit strikes the protector rather than the optic’s glass.
Airsoft optics, particularly replica red dots and scopes, can crack or chip if they take a BB hit at close range, and replacing a sight is far more expensive than fitting a protector. ACM’s rail-mounted design is a simple, budget-friendly way to protect your investment.
Why protect your optic
Close-range CQB and woodland games put your optic directly in the line of fire. A lens protector is cheap insurance against a cracked lens that would otherwise end your day, and it can also help keep mud and debris off the front of your sight.
Rail-mounted protectors are independent of the optic, so one protector can be used with different sights.
Fitting
Mount the protector on the rail directly in front of your optic, close enough that it shields the objective lens. Check that it sits square and does not block your view through the sight, and tighten it firmly so it does not shift when you move.

Compatibility
Mounts on standard RIS/Picatinny-style rails. Check that your rail has space in front of your optic and that the protector is a suitable size for your sight’s objective lens, using the product photos as a guide.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the protector with a soft cloth after games and replace it if it becomes heavily scratched or cracked, as it will start to obscure your view. Check the mounting screw is tight before each game.
