Description
ACM S-C-R Spring Rifle with Foregrip (Black – 8902A)
The ACM S-C-R is a spring-powered rifle with modern assault rifle styling, supplied with a foregrip and finished in black. It carries the 8902A model code, the same code as the blue S-C-R spring rifle we sell, so this is the black version of the same design.
Spring rifles are the simplest way into airsoft: there is no battery to charge and no gas to buy, so you can pick it up and shoot whenever you like. That makes the S-C-R a good choice for younger players, garden target practice and anyone who wants an inexpensive replica that looks the part.
How it works
A spring rifle fires one shot each time you cock it. Pulling the cocking mechanism compresses a spring behind a piston; when you pull the trigger, the spring drives the piston forward and the air pushes the BB down the barrel. Because the power comes from your own cocking action, the rifle performs the same in hot or cold weather.
The steady rhythm of cock, aim and fire encourages careful shooting, which is a great way to learn the basics of aiming and trigger control before moving on to an electric or gas rifle.
Design and handling
The S-C-R has the angular, modern lines of a contemporary assault rifle, and the supplied foregrip gives your support hand a natural place to sit, helping keep the rifle steady while you aim. Black is the classic choice for a modern rifle and goes with almost any loadout.
As a budget spring rifle, it is light and easy to handle for smaller shooters, and simple enough that there is very little to go wrong.
Getting started
Read the manual first so you know how the safety and loading work. Load BBs as described, cock the rifle and fire a few shots at a safe backstop, such as a cardboard box with an old blanket inside or a proper BB trap. Paper targets at a few metres are a good way to see how the rifle groups and to practise a steady hold using the foregrip.
Keep the safety on until you are ready to shoot, never point the rifle at anyone who is not wearing eye protection, and supervise younger shooters at all times.

Compatibility
Use 6mm airsoft BBs. Lighter BBs suit budget spring rifles best, and 0.12g or 0.20g BBs are common choices; start with whichever weight the manual recommends.
Magazines and parts are specific to this model and are not interchangeable with electric rifle magazines, so please ask us before buying spares.
Care and maintenance
Spring rifles need very little maintenance. Clean the inner barrel now and then with a cleaning rod and a dry patch, and use only clean, seamless BBs of a consistent weight, as damaged or dirty BBs are the main cause of jams and flyers.
Never dry-fire the rifle repeatedly without BBs, as this puts extra strain on the piston and cylinder. Store it dry, with the spring uncocked, and check external screws and the rail mounts from time to time.
Who is it for?
The S-C-R is ideal for newcomers, younger players under supervision and anyone wanting an inexpensive, no-fuss rifle for target shooting or casual games.
Please note: BBs are not mentioned as included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, use a safe backstop for target shooting and check your site’s rules before play.
