The ACM Tactical Carbine Conversion Kit turns a 1911 or MEU-style gas pistol into a compact carbine-style replica, and this version is finished in green. The pistol sits inside the kit’s body, giving it a longer, rifle-like profile with more points of contact for a steadier hold.
Carbine kits are an enjoyable and practical way to get more from a pistol you already own. You keep the same pistol, magazines and gas, but gain the feel of a small PDW or carbine, which can make your sidearm easier to shoot accurately at longer ranges. The green finish suits woodland and olive-toned loadouts.
How it works
The pistol is fitted inside the conversion kit, which surrounds it and gives you a longer body with more room for your support hand. The pistol’s trigger, magazine and internals are still what fire the BB, so the way it shoots stays the same, while the carbine body helps you hold it more steadily. Compatibility
Intended for 1911/MEU-series gas pistols. Replicas from different makers vary in size and detail, so check the product images against your own pistol before buying. Hi-Capa and other wide-frame pistols are not the same as a standard 1911 frame, so do not assume they will fit.
Care and maintenance
Remove the magazine and make sure the pistol is unloaded before fitting it to or removing it from the kit. Wipe the kit clean after games and check that screws and catches are secure.
Take the pistol out of the kit for routine maintenance, lubricate the slide rails and magazine seals with silicone oil, and store gas magazines with a little gas in them to keep the seals in good condition.
