ACM Tactical Pistol Retention Lanyard (Tan)
This is the ACM Tactical Pistol Retention Lanyard in tan. It connects your pistol to your belt, vest or holster platform, so if you drop your sidearm in the middle of a game, it stays with you instead of disappearing into the undergrowth.

Why use a retention lanyard
Pistols get dropped. It happens when you transition from your rifle in a hurry, climb through a window, crawl through undergrowth or try to holster in the dark. In long grass or woodland, a dropped pistol can be very hard to find again, and on hard floors it can be scratched or damaged. A lanyard links the pistol to you, so a fumble means a short drop on the end of a line rather than a lost sidearm.
Lanyards are also useful for players who carry a pistol without a rigid holster, and for anyone who wants extra peace of mind on a big game day.
Fitting and use
One end of the lanyard attaches to your belt, vest or holster platform, and the other to a lanyard point on your pistol, such as a loop at the base of the grip. Set it up so the lanyard reaches comfortably when you extend your arms into a firing position, but does not hang low enough to snag. Practise drawing and holstering with the lanyard attached in the safe zone before your first game.

Care and maintenance
