Description
Ares Amoeba Diamond Precision 0.43g (500 BB’s – Bottle)
These are Ares Amoeba Diamond Precision 6mm airsoft BBs in a 0.43g weight, supplied in a bottle of 500. Amoeba is the sports-focused range from Ares, and the Diamond Precision BBs are its higher-grade ammunition. At 0.43g they are heavyweight BBs, intended for replicas with enough power and hop-up to lift them properly.
A weight of 0.43g sits between the more common 0.40g and 0.45g options, which makes it a handy in-between step when you are fine-tuning a DMR or bolt-action sniper rifle to get the best flight from its hop-up. The 500-round bottle is a convenient size for testing or for a marksman who shoots carefully rather than in volume.
Why use heavy BBs?
Heavier BBs carry their energy further, are less affected by wind and tend to fly more steadily than light BBs. The trade-off is that they need more hop-up to stay level and leave the barrel more slowly, so they suit higher-powered replicas. In a low-powered gun, a 0.43g BB will simply drop short.
Using them well
When you change to a different BB weight, readjust your hop-up: start with low hop and increase it until the BB flies flat without rising at the end of its flight. Always chrono with the weight you intend to play with, as many sites set their limits by energy rather than speed alone.

Compatibility
For 6mm airsoft replicas with sufficient power and hop-up for heavy BBs, typically DMRs, sniper rifles and upgraded AEGs or gas rifles. Check that your site allows the joule figure your replica produces with this weight.
Care and maintenance
Keep the bottle sealed, dry and out of direct sunlight, and never reuse BBs picked up from the ground, as dirt or damaged BBs can harm your barrel and hop-up rubber.
Who is it for?
Marksmen and snipers who want a mid-step heavy BB for fine-tuning, or anyone testing which weight works best with their rifle.
Please note: Always wear suitable eye protection when using airsoft replicas.
