Description
Ares G39 EBB with IDZ Stock (ECU Version – AR-075E)
The Ares G39 EBB with IDZ stock (AR-075E) is a G36-style electric rifle with electric blowback, built around Ares’ own electronic fire control system. The IDZ name refers to the distinctive German future-soldier style folding stock, which gives this G36 variant a modern, purposeful look that stands out from more common M4 and AK replicas.
Ares is respected for integrating electronics into its gearboxes, and this ECU version uses the Ares EFCS (Electronic Fire Control System) to give a quick, accurate trigger response. The electric blowback moves a mock bolt each shot, adding sound and a little felt movement that makes the rifle more engaging to shoot.
Build and stock
The receiver is a stiff, rugged polymer, as on the real G36 family, keeping weight sensible while standing up to field use. The IDZ stock adjusts for length and height and includes a cheek rest, so you can set a comfortable, repeatable cheek weld. It also folds, which makes the rifle shorter for transport and moving through buildings.
Basic iron sights are fitted. The battery is housed in the handguard, which is a typical arrangement for G36-style replicas.
Performance and internals
The rifle uses a Version 3 style gearbox with a quick-change spring, controlled by the Ares EFCS module mounted on the gearbox. Fire modes are safe, semi and full-auto. The electric blowback system cycles a mock bolt for added realism, and a bolt lock helps when adjusting the hop-up.
The hop-up is adjustable to suit your chosen BB weight. Take time to set it properly from zero, as a good hop setting makes more difference to accuracy than almost anything else.
Getting started
Before your first game, charge your battery fully on a suitable charger, fit it and check the rifle fires on safe, semi and auto as expected. Set the hop-up from zero, adding a little at a time until the BB holds a straight, flat line, and then check where it lands at the distances you usually shoot.
Your site will chronograph the rifle before play. Spend a few minutes learning how to change the battery and clear a jam so you are not doing it for the first time mid-game.

Care and maintenance
Remove the battery after use and store it outside the rifle. The battery sits in the handguard, so take care not to pinch the wires when refitting it. Clean the inner barrel with a rod and patch every few games and use good quality, seamless BBs.
The electric blowback system adds moving parts, so keep the rifle clean and dry and avoid running it with a low battery. Leave gearbox and EFCS servicing to a technician who knows Ares replicas.
