Compatibility
The AS03 uses Amoeba Striker magazines, and a shorter 38-round magazine is also made for the AS02 and AS03. Many Striker upgrade parts are available, but check that anything you buy is listed for the AS03, as the shorter barrel and body may need specific parts. Good quality 0.25g to 0.30g BBs suit most short-barrelled spring rifles; set the hop-up to match.
Care and maintenance
Store the AS03 with the bolt forward and the spring uncocked, and clean the inner barrel with a rod and patch now and then. Use clean, polished BBs, as damaged BBs cause flyers and can jam a bolt-action.
Keep the rifle dry, check screws before each game, and carry it in a holster or padded case that protects the bolt handle and muzzle from knocks.
