Armorer Works Gas Blowback VX Pistol with Tactical Carbine Conversion Kit (Tan – AW-VX03002)
This Armorer Works set combines a VX gas blowback pistol with the Armorer Works Tactical Carbine Conversion Kit in tan (AW-VX03002). On its own the VX is a feature-packed sidearm with Armorer Works’ signature lightweight HEX-cut slide; fitted into the carbine kit it becomes a compact, stocked carbine with rails and sights, giving you two set-ups in one package.
Armorer Works is known for its custom-styled gas pistols and accessories, and the VX range brings competition-inspired details to a familiar pistol layout. The carbine kit adds a folding skeleton stock and Picatinny rail panels, so you can run a red dot, light or grip and shoot from the shoulder for extra stability.
The VX pistol
The VX has a lightweight HEX-cut slide with cut-outs to reduce weight, which helps give a crisp, agile blowback cycle with light recoil. The outer barrel carries an engraved Armorer Works logo and is threaded for a compensator or silencer. Luminous fibre front and rear sights help you pick up the target quickly.
The skeletonised polymer lower frame has a stippled grip surface for a secure hold, an integrated accessory rail for a torch or laser, and a pre-installed HEX-cut magwell for faster reloads. The trigger guard has two finger grooves for a firmer support-hand grip, and the enlarged magazine base makes reloading easier.
The tactical carbine conversion kit
The kit is made from high strength polymer and is designed for plug-and-play installation, so the pistol drops into the kit without permanent modification. It has an integrated front sight and an adjustable rear sight, a folding skeleton stock and multiple Picatinny rail panels for accessories.
Shooting from the shoulder with a stock and longer sight radius makes it easier to place accurate shots at longer ranges than with a pistol alone, and the folding stock keeps the package compact when you are moving or storing it.
Getting started
Charge the magazine with gas in short, steady bursts and let it rest briefly before shooting. Test-fire at a safe target and set the hop-up from zero, adding a little at a time until the BB’s flight is straight and level.
Practise reloads at home so they feel natural, and have the replica chronographed at the site before your first game.

Compatibility
The carbine kit is listed as fitting Armorer Works and WE G17 and G18 series pistols, and possibly others. The VX takes VX-series gas magazines such as the VXMG02 supplied; check spare magazines are listed for the Armorer Works VX before ordering. The Picatinny panels take standard rail accessories, and the threaded outer barrel accepts a suitable compensator or silencer.
Care and maintenance
Keep a little gas in the magazines when you store them and lubricate the seals with silicone oil from time to time. Fill in short bursts until gas just starts to spit back, and keep magazines at room temperature for the best performance.
After use, check the moving parts for dirt and wipe them with a light coat of silicone oil. Clean the inner barrel occasionally, use clean seamless BBs, and keep the replica dry.
