Description
Army Nighstorm 1911 MEU (R32) (Blue)
The Army Armament R32 is a gas-powered replica of the 1911 MEU pattern, the railed 1911 associated with the US Marine Corps’ expeditionary units. This listing is the blue version, a coloured edition of the pistol that stands out in a holster or a collection.
Army Armament is well known for producing affordable gas pistols with a solid feel, and its 1911 models are popular with players who want a classic sidearm without paying a premium. The MEU styling adds an accessory rail to the traditional 1911 shape, giving you the option of fitting a torch or laser.
Design and handling
The 1911 MEU shape is instantly recognisable, with a slim grip that suits a wide range of hand sizes and a natural pointing angle. The rail on the frame lets you add a compact light or laser for indoor sites and night games, and the blue finish gives a familiar design a fresh look.
As with any 1911-pattern pistol, get to know the controls before your first game, including the safety and the magazine release, so that drawing and reloading become second nature.
Using a gas pistol
Gas pistols are powered by gas stored in the magazine. Fill the magazine as the manual describes, using the gas type the manual recommends, and let it settle for a moment before shooting. Performance is best at moderate temperatures; on cold days keep spare magazines warm in an inside pocket.
If the pistol has an adjustable hop-up, set it from zero and increase it gradually until the BBs fly flat. Good quality seamless BBs make a noticeable difference to accuracy and reliability. Have the pistol chronographed at your site before your first game.

Compatibility

Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine’s fill valve and seals every few fills, and store magazines with a little gas in them so the seals stay tight. Do not overfill, and let magazines warm up to room temperature in cold weather rather than heating them.
Wipe the moving parts and the outer barrel with a thin film of silicone oil now and then, clean the inner barrel with a rod and patch, and use good quality seamless BBs. Never use petroleum-based oils on the seals.
Who is it for?
The R32 suits players who want an affordable 1911 MEU-style sidearm with a distinctive finish, and fans of the 1911 who like a classic design with a modern accessory rail.
Please note: gas and BBs are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection when using airsoft replicas.
