The Big Foot GoPro Rail Mount is a black accessory mount that lets you fit a GoPro-style action camera to an accessory rail on your airsoft replica. It gives you a weapon-mounted view of your games, so you can capture exactly where the gun is pointing and share the action afterwards.
Gun-cam footage has become a big part of airsoft, whether you are filming for a YouTube channel, reviewing your own play, or simply keeping a record of a good day out with friends. A dedicated rail mount is a far more stable and secure option than tape or improvised brackets, and it keeps the camera where it will not get in the way of your sights.
How it works
One side of the mount clamps on to an accessory rail on your replica, and the other provides a GoPro-style fitting for the camera. Once the camera is attached you can usually angle it to suit your set-up, aligning it with your line of sight or the barrel so the footage shows targets clearly.
Mounting the camera on the gun rather than on a helmet means the picture follows your aim, which gives viewers a much clearer idea of what you were shooting at.
Setting up for good footage
Mount the camera far enough forward that it does not block your optic or iron sights, and check that it is clear of your support hand, torch and laser. Many players prefer the side or top rail near the front of the handguard. Make a short test recording before the game starts, so you can adjust the angle and confirm the camera is level.

Compatibility
This mount is intended for cameras that use the GoPro-style mounting interface. Rail standards vary, so check that the rail on your replica is suitable for the mount before buying; if your gun has an M-LOK or Keymod handguard you may need to add a short rail section first. Camera and accessories are not included.
Care and maintenance
Check that the clamp is tight before each game, as recoil, knocks and crawling can loosen fittings over time. Wipe off dirt and moisture after use and allow the mount and camera to dry before storage. Do not over-tighten fixing screws, which can strip threads or mark your rail.
