Description
Big Leg Holster 1911 with Two Pouches (Hard)
This drop-leg holster combines a hard-shell holster for 1911-pattern pistols with two pouches on a thigh platform. It keeps your sidearm and spare kit low on the leg where they are easy to reach, leaving your belt and chest rig free for rifle magazines, radios and other gear.
The 1911 is one of the most popular pistol patterns in airsoft, with gas and CO2 versions made by many brands. A dedicated hard holster with matching pouches gives 1911 owners a ready-made sidearm set-up in a single purchase. We also list this holster style for other pistol patterns and in other colours.
Holster and pouches
A hard holster keeps its shape, which makes drawing and re-holstering smoother and protects the pistol better than a soft holster. The two pouches give space for spare pistol magazines or other small items. Check the product images for the retention method, pouch sizes and closures.
Practise drawing and re-holstering in the safe zone so you know exactly where your hand needs to go before your first game.
Fit and set-up
The platform hangs from your belt and is secured round the thigh with leg straps. Set the height so your hand meets the grip naturally with your arm hanging down, and tighten the leg straps enough to stop the platform swinging when you run. A drop-leg holster is also comfortable when wearing a plate carrier, which can make a belt-mounted holster awkward to reach.

Compatibility
Made for 1911-pattern pistols. Airsoft 1911s vary between makers, and long slides, compensators, lights or optics may not fit, so check the product images against your pistol. Compare the pouch size with your own magazines too. Colour and whether the holster is right or left handed are not stated in this listing; check the product photos before ordering.
Care and maintenance
Brush mud and grit off the holster and pouches after each game, as dirt inside a hard holster can scratch your pistol. Let the platform and straps dry naturally if they get wet. Check the retention, belt attachment and leg straps from time to time and replace anything that has worn. Remove gas magazines from the pouches after games and store them with a little gas in them.
Who is it for?
