Bolt Gear Set
Product details
- Model / version: Bolt Gear Set
Use and setup
Gears form part of the airsoft mechanism’s drive system, so the right selection depends on the complete build rather than the gear set alone. The stated ratio or model designation helps identify the version, while the surrounding parts determine whether it is a suitable match.
Check the gearbox platform, gear dimensions and any specified ratio against the original parts. Tooth arrangement, bearings or bushings, motor choice and piston engagement all need to work together. A description such as high speed or torque is a product designation rather than a promise of a particular firing rate in every build.
Care and checks
Gear installation calls for careful alignment and shimming by someone familiar with the mechanism. Check free movement and engagement before applying power, then test the assembled replica progressively. Investigate unusual noise or binding promptly. Retain the original parts for comparison and avoid assuming that replacing gears alone will correct an unrelated electrical or feeding fault.
