Description
C/C Micro Pellet Mix 3kg
This Crafty Catcher Micro Pellet Mix is a 3kg pack of small pellets, made for the kind of fishing where lots of small food items work best: PVA bags, Method feeders, spod mixes and loose feeding. The larger pack size makes it good value for anglers who fish regularly or use a lot of feed on longer sessions.
Micro pellets are a popular base feed in carp and coarse fishing. Because they are small, they settle into a tight carpet on the bottom and break down relatively quickly, creating a cloud of attraction around your hookbait. Fish have to search through lots of small items, which keeps them in the swim and feeding confidently.
Ways to use it
Use the pellets dry in solid PVA bags or PVA mesh to build a compact parcel of feed around your hookbait. Add them to a spod mix with particles and crushed boilies for baiting at range. Dampen a quantity for the Method feeder, letting them absorb water until they are slightly tacky so they hold around the feeder.
They can also be loose fed in the margins or around a float, or mixed into groundbait to add extra food items.
Preparing for the Method
Add a small amount of water at a time and leave the pellets to absorb it for a few minutes. Squeeze a handful to check that it holds together. Too much water makes them mushy and hard to pack, so build up slowly.
