This Classic Army HPA adaptor is made for the Classic Army Micro Gun, the compact rotary minigun-style replica in Classic Army’s range, and it takes a 6mm push-fit HPA line. The Micro Gun is sold as a gas-powered replica; an HPA adaptor gives owners a way to connect it to a high-pressure air system, using a tank and regulator, as an alternative supply.
Classic Army has been making airsoft replicas since the 1990s, and the Micro Gun is one of the most unusual support weapons in its catalogue. Owners who already run HPA in other replicas, or who want to take a high-volume gun through a long game day without managing gas canisters, will find an HPA supply a convenient option. Classic Army also offers this adaptor in an 8mm push-fit size, so you can match it to the line you already use.
How push-fit works
Push-fit connectors grip a plastic air line when it is pushed firmly into the fitting, and seal it with an internal O-ring. To remove the line, you push the collar in and pull the hose out. The system is quick, tidy and widely used in airsoft HPA set-ups, but the hose outside diameter must match the fitting exactly. This version takes a 6mm line, which is a popular choice for lighter, more flexible set-ups.
Cut the hose end square with a proper hose cutter or a sharp blade before fitting it, as a ragged or angled cut is a common cause of slow leaks.
Setting up
Read the Micro Gun manual before converting it to an external air supply, and follow Classic Army’s guidance on fitting the adaptor and the operating pressure. Start at a low regulator setting, check for leaks with the gun pointed in a safe direction, and only increase pressure in small steps. Have the gun chronographed at your site on HPA before you play, as power can change with the air supply.

Compatibility
Made for the Classic Army Micro Gun. You will need a regulated HPA system and a 6mm outside-diameter air line; if your line is 8mm, choose the 8mm push-fit version instead. Check your Micro Gun model against the product images before ordering, as Classic Army has produced more than one version of its minigun-style replicas.
Care and maintenance
Keep the fitting clean and fit a dust cap or plug to any open HPA line when it is not in use, as grit in a push-fit connector is the main cause of leaks. Check the hose ends for cuts or scoring before each game day and trim or replace damaged hose rather than forcing it into the fitting.
Always shut off the regulator and vent the line before connecting or disconnecting anything. Never point an HPA line or fitting at anyone, and store tanks and regulators away from heat.
