Description

Classic Army M134 Micro Mini Gun (Powered by Green Gas – Black)

The Classic Army M134 Micro Mini Gun is a compact airsoft replica of the famous multi-barrel rotary minigun, finished in black. As named, it is powered by green gas, although a UK retailer listing for the same black micro gun describes HPA operation, so please confirm the power source with us before ordering. Few replicas turn heads on the field quite like it: the rotating barrel cluster and the sheer volume of BBs it puts downrange make it a true centrepiece for support gunners.

Classic Army is one of the longest-established names in airsoft, and the Micro Gun format scales the M134 down into something one player can actually carry and use. It suits dedicated support players, event and display use, film and photo work, and collectors who want something genuinely unusual. We also list the M134 Micro Gun in blue.

How it works

A UK retailer listing for the black Micro Gun describes four barrels in a rotating cluster driven by an electric motor, with each barrel fitted with its own individually adjustable AEG-type hop-up. The same listing gives full-auto fire only, a joystick-style trigger with a grip safety and a very high rate of fire, so this is a replica for laying down suppressing fire rather than precise single shots.

That listing describes a large internal spring-loaded BB hopper of around 2,200 rounds that feeds in any orientation, and a separate battery for the barrel-rotation motor (it lists batteries up to 12 volts and recommends an 11.1V LiPo). Our listing names green gas, while that retailer listing refers to HPA at 110 psi; please check the manual for the correct gas or air supply before use.

Build and handling

The retailer lists the Micro Gun at around 710mm long and roughly 9lb unloaded, with a nylon fibre-reinforced polymer construction. That is heavy compared with a rifle, but manageable for a support gunner using a good sling, and far more portable than a full-size minigun replica.

Fit a wide, padded sling and practise carrying and firing from the hip and from cover before your first game. Plan how you will carry spare BBs, batteries and power so you can stay in the fight without long trips back to the safe zone.

On the field

The M134’s strength is area denial: holding a corridor, pinning a building or covering an advance. Because it fires full-auto only, check your site’s rules on support weapons, full-auto limits and minimum engagement distances before you bring it, and have it chronographed. We also list a 0.5j version of this Micro Gun for sites with lower power limits.

Compatibility

The retailer listing says the Micro Gun works with standard AEG inner barrels, hop-up units and buckings, which makes servicing more straightforward. Classic Army also makes 6mm and 8mm HPA adaptors for its Micro Gun range, which we list separately; please check with us which suits your set-up before ordering.

Use good-quality 6mm seamless BBs. Check the gas or air requirements in the manual before connecting any power source.

Care and maintenance

Disconnect the rotation battery and remove or vent the gas or air supply after every game. Store the battery separately at a sensible storage charge, and never leave LiPo batteries charging unattended.

Keep the hopper and feed path clean and dry, as grit or a damaged BB can cause feeding problems across several barrels. Run a cleaning rod through each barrel now and then, check the hop-up on each barrel is still set evenly, and have any internal work done by a competent technician familiar with the Micro Gun.

Who is it for?

The Classic Army M134 Micro Mini Gun is for committed support players and collectors who want the most dramatic replica on the field, and for events, displays and filming where a rotary minigun is the star of the show.

Please note: Gas, air, batteries and BBs are not listed as included. Please confirm the power source and box contents with us before ordering. Always wear suitable eye protection, and full-face protection where your site requires it, when using or testing any airsoft replica.
