Description
Classic Army M4 CQB Pistol AEG (RIS – Full Metal – Gen.2 – CA100M)
The Classic Army M4 CQB Pistol (CA100M) is an ultra-short, full metal M4-pattern AEG with an RIS rail handguard, built for the tightest close-quarters play. The “pistol” configuration means a very short overall length, so it is extremely quick to handle in buildings, vehicles and dense woodland. This is the Gen.2 version, as named.
Classic Army has been making airsoft replicas since the 1990s, and its M4 rifles are known for solid construction and dependable internals. A US retailer describes the CA100M as ultra CQC in length yet still suitable for mid-range play, which sums up its appeal: tiny and agile, but still a capable rifle.
Build and features
The full metal construction gives the CQB Pistol a solid, rigid feel. A US retailer lists it with a quad Picatinny rail system already attached, a short detachable front battle grip and flip-up sights, giving plenty of mounting space for a torch, laser or red dot despite the compact size.
In its pistol configuration the rear of the rifle is a buffer tube rather than a full stock. The same US retailer offered it in a combo with a six-position collapsible M4 stock that fits by unscrewing the rear buffer tube cap, and mentions a sling mount ring on the buffer tube cap. Please see the product photos for what is supplied with this listing.
Performance and internals
The US retailer lists a gearbox with 9mm bearings and a quick spring change feature. Being able to swap the main spring without stripping the gearbox makes it easy to set the rifle up for CQB sites with lower power limits, or for outdoor sites when you need a little more.
A short barrel favours quick, accurate shots at close range. Set the hop-up with your chosen BB weight, and use good-quality seamless BBs for consistent results.
Handling
The very short length is the whole point of the CQB Pistol: it clears doorways and corners easily and is light enough to carry all day. Many players fit a compact red dot and a vertical or angled grip to make the most of the RIS rails, and add a stock if they want a steadier hold.

Compatibility
The CQB Pistol is an M4-pattern AEG and is designed around M4-type AEG magazines; fit varies between makers, so test a spare before relying on it. The RIS rails take standard 20mm accessories, and the buffer tube accepts M4-type stocks.
Battery space in a pistol-configuration M4 is limited, so check the dimensions and connector against the manual before buying a battery, and contact us if unsure. Seamless BBs of 0.20g to 0.25g are a sensible starting point.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it separately at a sensible storage charge, rather than leaving it connected inside the replica. Charge LiPo batteries with a proper balance charger, keep them in a LiPo-safe bag and never leave them charging unattended; NiMH packs should be charged with a smart charger that stops when the pack is full.
Run a cleaning rod with a lightly dampened patch through the inner barrel from time to time to clear dirt and residue, which keeps the hop-up consistent. Use good-quality seamless BBs, never reuse BBs that have been on the ground, and wipe the outside over after damp or muddy games. Leave gearbox work, shimming and spring changes to a competent technician.
Who is it for?
The Classic Army M4 CQB Pistol is for CQB and indoor players who want the shortest practical M4, for anyone who values a quick spring change for different sites, and for players who like to build a compact rifle up with their own stock and optics.
Please note: A battery, charger and BBs are not listed as included. Please check with us whether a stock is supplied with this listing. Always wear suitable eye protection, and full-face protection where your site requires it, when using or testing any airsoft replica.
