Description
Classic Army Nemesis Gen2 LS12 M4 Carbine AEG (Grey – CA121M-GREY)
The Classic Army Nemesis Gen2 LS12 is a full-featured M4 carbine with a 12 inch M-Lok rail, finished in grey (CA121M-GREY). It brings together billet-style metal receivers, an updated gearbox and Classic Army’s programmable ECS electronics in a rifle that is ready for serious skirmishing straight from the box.
The Gen2 Nemesis range is Classic Army’s modern AR line, and the LS12 is its carbine-length option. It suits players who want one capable rifle for woodland and urban games, with the reliability and upgrade-friendly layout of an M4 and the convenience of modern electronics.
Build and ergonomics
The upper and lower receivers are billet-style metal with Nemesis engraving, topped by a 12 inch M-Lok rail with plenty of room for a torch, laser, grip and optic. The BAS stock stores up to three batteries, and the overall length is listed at around 770mm retracted and 870mm extended, with an empty weight of about 3.2kg.
The controls are fully ambidextrous: fire selector, magazine release, bolt catch and charging handle. The bolt can be locked open, a flat trigger gives a clean pull, and flip-up front and rear sights are fitted as backups for your optic.
Performance and internals
Inside is an updated G2 gearbox with reinforced 9mm bushings, a CNC wire-cut steel gear set, aluminium bore-up cylinder head, heat-treated polymer piston and metal spring guide with bearing. A quick-change spring is reached by unscrewing the stock tube, and a 31k high-speed, high-torque motor sits behind a quick-change motor grip.
The 380mm 6.03mm tight-bore inner barrel and adjustable hop-up, reached through the charging handle, give consistent accuracy. The three-prong flash hider uses QD threads and is suppressor-ready. Classic Army’s ECS adds 3- or 5-round burst, motor protection, low-battery detection and a programmable safe mode, with low-resistance wiring and a small Tamiya connector.
Getting started
Before your first game, charge your battery fully on a suitable charger, fit it and check the rifle fires on safe, semi and auto as expected. Set the hop-up from zero, adding a little at a time until the BB holds a straight, flat line, and then check where it lands at the distances you usually shoot.
Your site will chronograph the rifle before play. Spend a few minutes learning how to change the battery and clear a jam so you are not doing it for the first time mid-game.

Compatibility
The LS12 takes standard M4 AEG magazines from most major brands. The M-Lok rail accepts M-Lok accessories and rail sections, and the QD flash hider is listed as suiting Classic Army’s Fast Attack suppressor. Choose a battery that fits the BAS stock and uses a small Tamiya connector, or fit the matching plug. Upgrade parts should suit Classic Army’s G2 gearbox; check before ordering.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it away from the rifle, and charge LiPo batteries only on a proper balance charger under supervision. Clean the inner barrel with a cleaning rod and a dry cloth patch every few games, as dirt and broken BB fragments are the main causes of flyers. Stick to good quality seamless BBs of a consistent weight.
Check screws, the flash hider and any mounts before each game day, and store the rifle somewhere dry. Leave the hop-up at a light setting in storage, and if the rifle has an electronic trigger unit, a fully charged battery helps it read the trigger cleanly.
Who is it for?
The LS12 suits players who want a capable, feature-rich M4 carbine with modern electronics, players who value fully ambidextrous controls and anyone wanting a distinctive grey rifle.
Please note: Battery, charger and optic are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection when using or testing any airsoft replica.
