The Classic Army Nemesis HEX (CA112M) is a black electric M4 carbine with a 13-inch lock rail handguard. The long handguard gives a modern, free-float look and plenty of room for your support hand and accessories.
Classic Army has been making airsoft replicas since the 1990s. HEX stands for Hybrid Elite Xtreme, and the Nemesis HEX line is the brand’s modern, well-specified take on the M4 for skirmish players who want a capable main rifle that is easy to maintain and upgrade.
Handguard and layout
The 13-inch lock rail handguard lets you place a grip, torch or laser exactly where you want them, and its length allows a stable, extended hold for better control. The top rail is ready for a red dot, holographic sight or magnified optic.
Because it is an M4 carbine at heart, all the controls are where you expect them, so the rifle is quick to learn and quick to reload.
Nemesis HEX features
A US retailer listing for the Nemesis HEX (code CA110M-2) describes CNC-machined aluminium upper and lower receivers, a programmable electronic control system with burst options and low-battery detection, a reinforced gearbox with a quick-change spring system and a 6.03mm tight-bore inner barrel. That listing is for a different handguard version, so please check the manual or ask us to confirm which of these features apply to the CA112M.
Getting started
Charge a suitable battery fully on a proper charger and fit it as the manual describes, connecting it carefully. Load a magazine, wind it if it is a high-capacity type, and start with the hop-up turned off. Fire a few shots at a safe backstop and add hop a little at a time until BBs fly flat without rising at the end of their flight.
Have the rifle chronographed at your site before you play, and keep a note of the hop setting that suits your favourite BB weight so you can return to it quickly.

Compatibility

Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it separately at a sensible storage charge, rather than leaving it connected inside the replica. Charge LiPo batteries with a proper balance charger, keep them in a LiPo-safe bag and never leave them charging unattended; NiMH packs should be charged with a smart charger that stops when the pack is full.
Run a cleaning rod with a lightly dampened patch through the inner barrel from time to time to clear dirt and residue, which keeps the hop-up consistent. Use good-quality seamless BBs, never reuse BBs that have been on the ground, and wipe the outside over after damp or muddy games. Leave gearbox work, shimming and spring changes to a competent technician.
