The Colt 1911 Rail Combat Unit from Cybergun is an officially licensed, CO2-powered gas blowback replica of Colt’s modern railed 1911, finished in black (code 180564). It pairs the timeless 1911 profile with a tactical accessory rail, full metal construction and a working blowback slide.

Build and details
Both the frame and slide are metal, and Cybergun has reinforced key components with metal parts, including the outer barrel, chamber, recoil spring guide rod, on-frame safety, slide stop, hammer and trigger. The result is a pistol that feels solid and should stand up well to regular use.
The Combat Unit styling includes knurling on the front strap and backstrap for a secure grip, a classic 1911 beavertail, and serrations at the front and rear of the slide to help when racking it. Fixed sights keep the profile snag-free, and the frame rail takes a torch or laser.
Performance
When you fire, the CO2 drives the BB and then cycles the slide, cocking the hammer for the next shot and giving realistic recoil. A mock firing pin mechanism adds to the realism. Fire modes are safe and semi-automatic, controlled by the on-frame safety.
The hop-up is adjustable, so you can tune the pistol to your preferred BB weight and get the best range from it. Start with the hop-up off and add a little at a time until the BBs fly flat.
Getting started
Fit a CO2 capsule as the manual describes, adding a drop of silicone oil to its tip first, and tighten the seal in one smooth movement. Load the magazine with BBs, fire a few shots at a safe backstop with the hop-up off, then add hop gradually until the BBs fly flat.
Ask your site to chronograph the pistol before you play, and release any leftover gas before taking the capsule out after use.

Care and maintenance
Always fire off or release any remaining gas before taking a CO2 capsule out, and never leave a capsule in the magazine for long periods. Put a drop of silicone oil on the tip of each new capsule before fitting it, which helps keep the seals supple.
Wipe the moving parts with a light film of silicone oil now and then, clean the inner barrel with a rod and patch, and use quality seamless BBs. Store the replica dry and empty.
