Description
Colt M4 CQB-R Dual Tone Tan AEG (With Battery and Charger – Cybergun – 180834)
The Colt M4 CQB-R Dual Tone Tan AEG is an officially licensed Colt replica sold under the Cybergun licence, reference 180834. It is a CQB-R style M4 in a two-tone tan finish, and this package is listed as supplied with a battery and charger, making it a straightforward way to get into airsoft with a licensed M4.
Cybergun is a French company that holds licences from many famous firearms manufacturers and produces officially trademarked airsoft replicas, often built for it by established airsoft factories. Licensed replicas like this carry the correct manufacturer markings, which appeals to players and collectors who want an authentic-looking replica. The CQB-R is a short-barrelled M4 variant designed for close-quarters use, which makes it well suited to indoor sites and close woodland.
Design and handling
The CQB-R’s shorter front end keeps the rifle compact and fast to manoeuvre, while the M4 layout gives you familiar controls and an adjustable stock. The dual-tone tan finish sets it apart from the usual all-black M4 and matches coyote and multicam kit.
Rails on the handguard let you add a grip, torch or sight, so you can set the rifle up for your role.
Ready to go
Because this package is listed with a battery and charger, you only need BBs and eye protection to get started. Charge the battery fully before your first game following the charger’s instructions, and check the manual for how the battery fits. Start with 0.20g to 0.25g seamless BBs and adjust the hop-up until the BBs fly flat.
On the field
A compact M4 is one of the most versatile tools in airsoft. The CQB-R is quick to bring on target around corners and through doorways, while still being perfectly usable outdoors with a red dot.

Compatibility
As an M4-pattern AEG, it is designed around M4/M16-style AEG magazines, though magwell tolerances vary, so try one before buying a full set. If you buy a spare or upgraded battery, match the battery space and connector of the supplied one. Rail accessories should match the rail type fitted.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it separately, at a sensible storage charge, rather than leaving it connected inside the rifle. If you use LiPo batteries, charge them with a proper balance charger and keep them in a LiPo-safe bag, and never leave them charging unattended.
Run a cleaning rod with a lightly dampened patch through the inner barrel from time to time to remove dirt and residue, which helps keep the hop-up consistent. Use good-quality seamless BBs, never reuse BBs that have been on the ground, and wipe the outside over after damp or muddy games. Leave gearbox work, shimming and spring changes to a competent technician.
Who is it for?
Ideal for new players who want a licensed, ready-to-go M4 package, and for anyone after a compact CQB-R in a tan finish for indoor and woodland games.
Please note: BBs are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye protection, and full-face protection where your site requires it, when using or testing any airsoft replica.
