Crafty Catcher’s Big Hit Bag and Boat mix is a feed mix made for two of the most popular ways of getting bait to the fish: PVA bags and bait boats. It comes in a 3kg pack, which gives you plenty for a long session or several shorter trips.
The idea of a bag mix is to put a small, concentrated patch of attractive feed right next to your hookbait. When the PVA melts or the hopper opens, the mix settles on the bottom around your rig, drawing fish in and encouraging them to feed confidently. The Big Hit range is aimed at anglers who want effective bait at a sensible price, and a 3kg pack is good value for regular use.
Using it in PVA bags
For solid PVA bags, the mix should be used dry or with a PVA-friendly liquid only, as water will melt the bag before you cast. Fill the bag, bury your hook in the middle or just inside the opening, compress it firmly and tie it off. You can add a few small pellets or crushed boilies to the mix for extra food items.
Using it in a bait boat
For bait boats you have more freedom. You can dampen the mix slightly so it drops as a tight patch, add pellets, particles and boilies to bulk it out, or glug it with a liquid booster for extra attraction. Load the hoppers, steer the boat to your spot and drop the feed over your rig for very accurate baiting at range.

Care and maintenance
Reseal the pack after use and store it somewhere cool and dry, away from damp and direct sunlight. Keep the dry mix separate from any wet additives until you need them, and do not store dampened mix, which will go off quickly. Rinse your bait boat hoppers after use.
