CYMA 7mm Gearbox Bushings High-Strength Upgrade Set (6 Pieces)
This CYMA set contains six 7mm gearbox bushings, sold as a high-strength upgrade. Bushings support the gear axles inside an AEG gearbox, and a full set of six covers the bevel, spur and sector gears, with one bushing on each side of each gear.
CYMA is one of the most widely used airsoft manufacturers, and replacing worn or loose bushings is one of the most worthwhile jobs when servicing a gearbox.
Why replace bushings
Worn bushings let the gears wobble, which causes noise, uneven wear and poor gear mesh. Over time this can lead to stripped teeth or a locked-up gearbox. Fitting a fresh, strong set helps keep the gears running true.

Care and maintenance
Fitting bushings means opening the gearbox, so if you are not confident, have them fitted by an airsoft technician. If the seats in your shell are worn or loose, glue the bushings in place with a suitable adhesive. Re-shim the gears after fitting, as new bushings can change the spacing, and keep the gearbox clean and correctly greased.
