Description
Cyma CM091 M4 URX 2 (Metal Body – Black – CYMA-CM091)
The Cyma CM091 is an M4-pattern electric rifle (AEG) with a metal body and a URX 2-style handguard, finished in black. The URX style of free-floating rail is a popular modern look for the M4, giving a long, railed front end with plenty of room for accessories.
Cyma is one of the most widely sold names in airsoft and is known for affordable, dependable rifles that are easy to maintain and upgrade. The CM091 pairs that practicality with a metal body for a solid, rigid feel, making it a sensible choice for a first serious rifle or a reliable spare. We also list the CM069 with a URX 3-style handguard.
Build and design
The metal body, as named, gives the rifle a solid feel with little flex or creak when you lean into barricades or crawl through woodland. The URX 2-style handguard provides rail space for a torch, grip or laser, and the top rail takes a red dot or magnified optic. Please see the product photos for the exact handguard length, stock and sights on this model.
The M4 layout is familiar to almost every player, with controls that are quick to learn and a huge range of compatible accessories, from stocks and grips to optics and slings.
Performance and internals
Cyma’s M4 rifles are built around the standard M4 gearbox layout, so many common upgrade parts are available. Our listing for the Cyma CM516 URX Sports Line describes a reinforced metal gearbox with steel gears and an adjustable one-piece metal hop-up chamber; this metal-body model is a different version, so check the manual for its exact internals before buying upgrades.
Set the hop-up with your chosen BB weight, and use good-quality seamless BBs for consistent range and accuracy.

Compatibility
Standard M4/M16 AEG magazines are the usual choice for Cyma M4-pattern rifles; fit varies a little between makers, so test any new magazine before relying on it in a game. The rails take standard 20mm accessories.
Check the battery space and connector against the manual before buying a battery. Many standard M4 gearbox upgrade parts are made for Cyma M4s, but always check a part is listed as compatible with Cyma M4 AEGs. Seamless BBs of 0.20g to 0.25g are a good starting point.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it separately at a sensible storage charge, rather than leaving it connected inside the replica. Charge LiPo batteries with a proper balance charger, keep them in a LiPo-safe bag and never leave them charging unattended; NiMH packs should be charged with a smart charger that stops when the pack is full.
Run a cleaning rod with a lightly dampened patch through the inner barrel from time to time to clear dirt and residue, which keeps the hop-up consistent. Use good-quality seamless BBs, never reuse BBs that have been on the ground, and wipe the outside over after damp or muddy games. Leave gearbox work, shimming and spring changes to a competent technician.
Who is it for?
The Cyma CM091 is for players who want an affordable, metal-bodied M4 with a modern URX-style rail, whether as a first serious rifle, a dependable spare or a base for upgrades.
Please note: A battery, charger and BBs are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye protection, and full-face protection where your site requires it, when using or testing any airsoft replica.
