Description

Cyma CM507 M4 RIS AEG (Sports Line – Black – CM507)

The Cyma CM507 is a Sports Line M4-pattern electric rifle with a 20mm RIS quad-rail handguard, finished in black. Cyma’s Sports Line is designed to give new players a dependable, affordable rifle with the internals that matter, and the CM507 is one of the most straightforward ways into the hobby.

Cyma is one of the most widely sold names in airsoft, and its Sports Line rifles combine a light polymer body with a metal Version 2 gearbox, so you get a rifle that is easy to carry and easy to maintain. We also list the CM507 in blue.

Build and design

The polymer body keeps the weight down, making the CM507 comfortable for younger or newer players and for long game days. The RIS quad-rail handguard gives 20mm rails on all four sides for a torch, laser, vertical grip or bipod, and the top rail takes a red dot or holographic sight.

The adjustable M4-style stock lets you set the length of pull to suit you and your kit, and houses the battery.

Performance and internals

Inside is a metal Version 2 gearbox, the most common AEG gearbox design, so replacement and upgrade parts are easy to find. An adjustable hop-up lets you tune the BB’s flight for your chosen weight, and the rifle offers safe, semi and full-auto fire.

A 300-round high-capacity magazine is listed with the rifle on our blue CM507 listing, giving plenty of BBs between reloads. Many players also buy a few mid-cap magazines for a more realistic style of play.

Key features

  • Cyma Sports Line M4-pattern AEG
  • 20mm RIS quad-rail handguard
  • Metal Version 2 gearbox
  • Adjustable hop-up
  • Safe, semi and full auto
  • Adjustable M4-style stock with battery space
  • Lightweight polymer body
  • Black finish

Compatibility

The CM507 takes M4-type AEG magazines; most mainstream M4 AEG magazines fit, but it is worth checking a specific brand first, as tolerances vary. The 20mm RIS rails accept standard Picatinny and Weaver-style accessories, and the V2 gearbox works with the very wide range of Version 2 upgrade parts.

For the battery, choose a compact stick type that fits in the stock and has a matching connector. Seamless BBs of 0.20g to 0.25g are a good starting point.

Care and maintenance

Take the battery out after every game and store it separately at a sensible storage charge, rather than leaving it connected inside the replica. Charge LiPo batteries with a proper balance charger, keep them in a LiPo-safe bag and never leave them charging unattended; NiMH packs should be charged with a smart charger that stops when the pack is full.

Run a cleaning rod with a lightly dampened patch through the inner barrel from time to time to clear dirt and residue, which keeps the hop-up consistent. Use good-quality seamless BBs, never reuse BBs that have been on the ground, and wipe the outside over after damp or muddy games. Leave gearbox work, shimming and spring changes to a competent technician.

Who is it for?

The Cyma CM507 is for new players who want an affordable, dependable M4 with plenty of rail space, for younger players who appreciate a lighter rifle, and for anyone who wants a reliable spare to lend to friends.

Please note: A battery, charger and BBs are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye protection, and full-face protection where your site requires it, when using or testing any airsoft replica.
