Description
Cyma M4 M-Lok (Nylon Fibre, MOSFET/QD Spring, with Battery and Charger, CM623)
The Cyma CM623 is a modern M4-pattern electric rifle with a slim M-Lok handguard, built around a tough nylon fibre polymer body and fitted with a MOSFET and a quick-change spring system. This version is supplied with a battery and charger, so once the battery is charged you have everything you need apart from BBs to get out on the field.
Cyma is one of the most widely used names in affordable airsoft, and its CM62x Sportline range is designed to give new players a dependable, easy-to-maintain rifle with features usually found on more expensive guns. The CM623 is a sensible first rifle, a reliable loan or spare gun for experienced players, and a good base for gradual upgrades.
Build and materials
The receiver, handguard, pistol grip and stock are nylon fibre polymer, which keeps the weight down to around 2.1kg and shrugs off the knocks and scrapes of regular play. The outer barrel assembly, buffer tube and trim are alloy. Polymer rifles do not feel as cold or heavy as full metal ones, which makes the CM623 comfortable to carry for a full day, and especially suitable for younger or smaller players.
The M-Lok handguard keeps the front end slim and comfortable in the hand, and lets you add rail sections only where you need them for a torch, laser, grip or bipod. A full-length 20mm top rail runs back along the receiver for optics, and removable flip-up iron sights are fitted. A front QD sling socket and an ambidextrous rear sling plate give you plenty of choice of sling setup.
Performance and internals
Inside is a full metal Version 2 gearbox, the most common AEG gearbox design, so replacement and upgrade parts are easy to find. A MOSFET and microswitch trigger give a crisp, responsive trigger and protect the trigger contacts from wear. The quick-change spring system means you can swap the main spring without splitting the gearbox, which is useful if you play at sites with different power limits or want to tune the rifle for indoor and outdoor use.
The hop-up is a gear-style adjustable unit reached by pulling back the charging handle and turning the wheel behind the mock bolt. Adjust it to suit your BB weight so the BBs fly flat rather than curving up or dropping early. Under the removable birdcage flash hider, which is held by a grub screw, the outer barrel has a 14mm counter-clockwise thread for a mock suppressor or tracer unit.
Handling
The six-position sliding crane stock lets you set the length of pull to suit your build and kit, and houses the battery. The familiar M4 layout puts the selector, magazine release and charging handle exactly where most players expect them, so the rifle is quick to learn and quick to reload under pressure. Safe, semi and full-auto fire are available.

Compatibility
Takes standard M4/AR-15-pattern AEG magazines, so mid-caps and hi-caps are easy to find. The Version 2 gearbox accepts standard V2 parts, the M-Lok handguard accepts M-Lok rail sections and accessories, and the 14mm counter-clockwise thread suits most suppressors and tracer units. If you buy a spare battery, choose a crane-stock type and make sure the connector matches.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out of the gun whenever you are not using it, and store LiPo batteries at storage charge in a fire-resistant bag. Never leave a battery charging unattended, and use a charger suited to the battery type.
Use good quality, seamless 6mm BBs; cheap or damaged BBs are the most common cause of jams and can damage the hop-up rubber. Run a cleaning rod with a dry patch through the inner barrel every few games, and if a BB jams, clear it with the rod from the muzzle end with the battery removed. After each game wipe the outside down to remove dirt and moisture, and let the gun dry at room temperature if it has been out in the rain. For long-term storage, wind the hop-up off and leave the gun on safe so the spring is not left compressed.
Who is it for?
The CM623 is ideal for new players who want a complete, modern M4 package with a battery and charger in the box, and for experienced players looking for a light, reliable spare or loan gun. Its MOSFET and quick-change spring also make it a good starting point for upgrades.
Please note: Battery and charger are included. BBs are sold separately. Always wear suitable eye and face protection and check the rules at your site before play.
