Description

Cyma M870 Tri-Shot Shotgun (Short – Black – CM350)

The Cyma CM350 is a black, spring-powered M870-style pump-action shotgun that fires three BBs at once. It is a simple, affordable and robust shotgun with no gas or battery to worry about, making it a great choice for new players, CQB games and garden target shooting.

Cyma is one of the best-known makers of budget airsoft replicas, and its M870 tri-shot shotguns have long been a favourite way to try the shotgunner role without a big outlay. Each pump of the action cocks the spring, and pulling the trigger sends three BBs downrange together.

How it works

The CM350 is spring powered: working the pump compresses the spring, and the trigger releases it to fire three BBs at once from a triple inner barrel design. Because there is no gas, performance does not drop in cold weather, and running costs are next to nothing.

BBs are loaded into shell-style magazines of about 30 rounds, which load from the bottom through a spring-loaded door. The hop-up is fixed, and 0.20g BBs suit it. Keep the shell door closed when racking the pump, as working the action with the door open can damage it.

Build and handling

The CM350 has an alloy barrel and loading tube with polymer receiver, grip and pump handle, which keeps it light and tough. The grooved pump handle and knurled grip give a secure hold, and there are front and rear sling points.

The loading tube unscrews to store up to three shell magazines, so you can carry spares inside the shotgun. Please check the product images for the stock configuration of this version, listed as short.

Getting started

Load a shell magazine with BBs, close the shell door, rack the pump and fire at a safe backstop. Use clean 0.20g BBs to suit the fixed hop-up.

Practise changing shells at home, and check your site’s rules for spring shotguns before play.

Key features

  • M870-style spring pump-action shotgun
  • Fires three BBs per shot
  • No gas or battery needed
  • Shell-style magazines of approx. 30 rounds
  • Loading tube stores up to three spare shells
  • Fixed hop-up
  • Alloy barrel and loading tube, polymer receiver
  • Front and rear sling points

Compatibility

The CM350 uses Cyma M870-style shell magazines of about 30 rounds; spare shells are available and are a worthwhile addition. Use 0.20g BBs to suit the fixed hop-up. Accessories such as stocks and rails should be checked against the CM350 before ordering.

Care and maintenance

Store the shotgun uncocked so the spring is not held under tension, and avoid dry firing. Keep the shell door closed when working the pump.

Wipe the shotgun down after use, keep it dry, and clean the inner barrels now and then with a thin rod and patch. Use clean BBs only.

Who is it for?

The CM350 suits new players and anyone who wants an affordable, reliable shotgun for CQB, indoor games or garden target shooting, with no gas or batteries to buy.

Please note: BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s rules for shotguns before play.
