The Double Eagle M813 is a full-size M4 RIS-style electric rifle that comes with an under-barrel M203-style launcher, finished in blue. It is a fun, affordable package that gives you the classic look of an M4 with a grenade launcher fitted, at a price aimed squarely at newer and younger players.
Double Eagle builds budget rifles in large numbers, and the M813 sits in its low-powered range. That makes it well suited to back-garden target shooting and casual play, and a good introduction to how AEGs work before stepping up to a full-power rifle.
Build and layout
The M813 has a plastic body, which keeps the weight down and makes the rifle easy for younger players to handle. It follows the M4 RIS layout, with rails around the front end, and the retractable stock gives an overall length of roughly 30.5 inches retracted to 34.25 inches extended.
The M203-style launcher mounts under the barrel and is a spring-powered, shotgun-style design that fires from a shell. It adds a second, fun way to shoot and gives the rifle its distinctive look.
Performance
This is a low-powered electric rifle, so it is best suited to target practice and casual games where lower power is welcome. It is designed as an entry-level rifle and is not intended to be upgraded.
The high-capacity magazine holds around 240 rounds, and a battery and charger are included, so you have everything you need to start apart from BBs. Use the lightweight BBs recommended in the manual for the best results from a low-powered rifle.
Getting started
Charge the supplied battery fully with the supplied charger before first use, then fit and connect it as the manual describes. Load the magazine, fit it to the rifle and fire a few shots at a safe target, such as a BB trap or a cardboard box with an old blanket behind it.
Read the manual’s instructions for the launcher before using it, and practise loading the shell so you are confident with it. Always point the rifle and launcher in a safe direction while loading.

Compatibility
Use magazines made for the M813, as low-powered rifles do not always accept standard M4 AEG magazines. The launcher uses its own shell; ask us about spares. The rails take lightweight 20mm accessories. Because this is a low-powered rifle, upgrade parts for full-power AEGs will not suit it.
Care and maintenance
Unplug the battery after use and recharge it only with the supplied charger, following the instructions. Keep the barrel clean with a rod and patch, and use clean, good quality BBs of the weight recommended in the manual.
Store the rifle and launcher indoors and dry, with the launcher uncocked. Avoid dropping the rifle, as plastic bodies are light but can crack under a hard knock.
Who is it for?
The M813 is aimed at younger and newer shooters, back-garden target practice and casual play, and at anyone who wants an inexpensive M4 with an under-barrel launcher for fun. It is not intended for players looking for a full-power skirmish rifle.
