EMG Falkor AR-15 SBR Blitz (M-LOK – by APS – FD-B)
The EMG Falkor Blitz is a licensed replica of Falkor Defense’s Blitz AR-15 SBR, built for EMG by APS. It pairs Falkor’s distinctive billet-style receiver with a chunky 11.5-inch M-LOK handguard, giving a short, punchy rifle that is easy to move with but still has plenty of room for accessories.
Retailer listings describe the Blitz SBR with metal upper and lower receivers, fully mirrored ambidextrous controls and APS’s upgradeable Silver Edge gearbox. We also list a gold-finished version of the Blitz SBR; this FD-B version is the standard model, which a retailer lists in black.
Build and design
A retailer lists the Blitz with a billet-type AR-15 metal upper and lower, a firearm-grade external finish, a Falkor “Fatty” free-float 11.5-inch M-LOK handguard and a flush top rail. A minimalist stock, textured slim motor grip, flared magwell and a tunable Blast Cap-style muzzle brake complete the look.

Compatibility
A retailer lists the Falkor rifles as compatible with Matrix, G&G, Tokyo Marui and other M4/M16-series AEG magazines; fit varies a little between makers, so try new magazines before relying on them in a game. The 14mm negative (CCW) thread suits most mock suppressors and tracer units, and the M-LOK handguard takes standard M-LOK rail sections and accessories.
The battery is listed as 7.4V with a small Tamiya plug; check the space in the stock before choosing a pack. The Silver Edge gearbox is an APS design, so check that any internal upgrade parts are listed as compatible. Seamless BBs of 0.25g are a good starting point.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it separately at a sensible storage charge, rather than leaving it connected inside the replica. Charge LiPo batteries with a proper balance charger, keep them in a LiPo-safe bag and never leave them charging unattended; NiMH packs should be charged with a smart charger that stops when the pack is full.
Run a cleaning rod with a lightly dampened patch through the inner barrel from time to time to clear dirt and residue, which keeps the hop-up consistent. Use good-quality seamless BBs, never reuse BBs that have been on the ground, and wipe the outside over after damp or muddy games. Leave gearbox work, shimming and spring changes to a competent technician.
