EMG x STI International DVC 3-GUN 2011 Base Plate for Gas Magazines (Black)
This is a black magazine base plate for the gas magazines of the EMG x STI International DVC 3-GUN 2011 gas blowback pistol. The base plate is the cap at the bottom of the magazine, and it is the surface you push against when you seat the magazine in the pistol.
EMG produces licensed airsoft replicas of well-known real-steel designs. The DVC 3-GUN is a licensed replica of the STI International 2011 designed for three-gun competition. A replacement base plate lets you fix a damaged magazine, freshen up worn ones or keep spares in your range bag.
What the base plate does
On a gas magazine, the base plate closes off the bottom of the magazine body and protects the gas reservoir and fill valve area underneath. It takes knocks every time a magazine is dropped during a reload, so base plates do wear, scratch and occasionally crack.
A fresh base plate restores the look of a well-used magazine and gives a secure, positive surface for seating it in the pistol. It is also a sensible spare to keep if you shoot competitively, where magazines are dropped many times in a single stage.
Fitting
The exact fitting method depends on the magazine, so follow the original manufacturer’s instructions or the parts diagram for your magazine. Before you begin, make sure the magazine is completely empty of gas and BBs. Work on a clean bench, keep track of any small springs or retaining parts, and avoid forcing anything.
If you are not confident fitting it yourself, an airsoft technician can do it quickly.

Made for gas magazines of the EMG x STI International DVC 3-GUN 2011. The DVC 3-GUN is built on the Hi-Capa pattern, but base plates are shaped to suit particular magazines and do not always swap between brands, so check your magazine type before ordering and contact us if you are unsure.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the base plate clean after use, especially if magazines have been dropped onto dirt or sand, and check that it is seated securely before filling the magazine with gas.
Store magazines with a little gas inside to keep the seals healthy, and put a drop of silicone oil on the fill valve from time to time. Never use petroleum-based oils on gas magazine seals.
