Description
Enola Gaye WP40 Wire Pull Smoke Grenade (Blue)
The Enola Gaye WP40 in blue is a wire pull smoke grenade that produces a steady cloud of blue smoke. Blue is a popular team colour and stands out well against both green woodland and grey urban backgrounds, making it a useful signal on almost any site.
Enola Gaye is a British company and one of the best-known names in coloured smoke, trusted by airsoft and paintball players, film crews, photographers and event organisers. The WP40 is one of its core wire pull smokes, giving a steady cloud of colour that suits both gameplay and creative work.
How it works
The WP40 uses Enola Gaye’s Wire Pull ignition: hold the grenade firmly, pull the ring and it starts to smoke. There is no striker to scratch and no lighter needed, so it can be deployed quickly, even with gloves on. Enola Gaye’s faster Twin Vent smoke is described by retailers as producing the same amount of smoke in around 20 seconds that the WP40 does over 90 seconds, so the WP40 is the choice when you want a longer, steadier release.
Using it
In a game, blue smoke is ideal for marking a team’s spawn, an objective held by the blue team, or a pick-up point. Agree colour meanings before the game so everyone knows what a signal means. Pull the ring, throw the grenade well clear of yourself and let the breeze carry the smoke across the area you want to mark or screen. Blue also photographs beautifully, giving a cool, striking look in portraits, product shots and video.

Compatibility
The WP40 is thrown by hand and needs no launcher or other equipment. It fits most general-purpose and grenade pouches. Check your site’s rules before bringing it to a game, as policies on pyrotechnics and smoke vary from site to site.
Storage and handling
Store smoke grenades in a cool, dry place away from heat, flames and direct sunlight, and keep them in their packaging until you need them. Do not use a grenade that is damp, crushed or damaged. Keep the pull ring secure in transit so it cannot be snagged, and carry grenades in a pouch rather than loose in a pocket. Read the instructions printed on the grenade before use.
After use, the casing gets very hot. Leave it where it lands until it has stopped smoking and cooled down completely, then pick it up and dispose of it responsibly. Never try to relight or reuse a spent grenade.
Who is it for?
The blue WP40 suits airsoft and paintball players who want dependable signal or screening smoke, game organisers marking objectives and zones, and photographers and videographers who need a reliable coloured smoke effect.
Please note: This is a pyrotechnic product. Use it outdoors only, follow the instructions on the grenade and the rules of your site, never hold it in front of your face and always wear suitable eye protection.
