The FMA PEQ LA5-C Upgrade Version is a replica of the LA-5 style military aiming unit, the larger successor to the PEQ-15 shape, combining an LED white light and a red laser in one rail-mounted box with IR-style lenses. This is the black version, code TB1074-BK; the same unit is also listed with a green laser (TB1075-BK).

How it works in play

Fitting and setting up
The unit is designed to mount on a rail; check the product photos for the mount and compare it with your rifle’s rails. Most airsoft rifles use 20mm Picatinny/RIS rails, so if yours has an M-LOK or Keymod handguard you will need a short 20mm rail section first. Mount it where the beam and laser are not blocked by the barrel or a suppressor, and where your support hand can reach the switch.

A red laser is generally less visible than a green one in bright daylight, so it is best suited to indoor and low-light play.

Care and maintenance
