Description
G&G ARP9 AEG with 5″ M-LOK Rail (EGC-ARP-9MM-BNB-NCM – Blue)
The G&G ARP9 is a compact 9mm-style AR carbine AEG, and this version has a 5-inch M-LOK rail, G&G code EGC-ARP-9MM-BNB-NCM, in blue. With its short handguard and low-profile sliding stock, the ARP9 is one of the most popular CQB rifles in airsoft. The blue finish is the UK coloured version, which clearly marks it out as a replica.
G&G Armament is a long-established manufacturer with a strong reputation for reliable, well-specified AEGs. The ARP9 brings G&G’s electronic trigger technology to a light, handy platform that suits indoor games, fast-moving woodland play and players who want a compact rifle that is easy to carry all day.
Build and design
The ARP9 is styled on a 9mm AR pistol-calibre carbine, with a slim receiver, a 5-inch M-LOK handguard and a top rail for optics. Retailer listings for the ARP9 with 5-inch M-LOK rail describe aluminium and nylon polymer construction, a length of about 497mm and a weight of about 2kg. The GOS-V5 sliding stock is low profile in the PDW style, so the rifle stays short and handy in buildings, and folding front and rear sights, a flat trigger and an ergonomic grip complete the package.
Ambidextrous controls, including an extended magazine release, make it easy to run from either shoulder, and a rear sling loop suits single-point slings.
Electronics and performance
G&G fits an electronic trigger unit (ETU) that sharpens trigger response and helps prevent trigger contact wear during rapid semi-auto fire, and a programmable MOSFET that switches between full auto and three-round burst. The rotary hop-up is easy to adjust, the inner barrel is listed at about 128mm, and the 14mm counter-clockwise threaded outer barrel takes a mock suppressor or flash hider.
The ARP9 is designed to run on an 11.1V LiPo, listed with a mini Tamiya connector and fitted in the stock. Check the battery space before ordering, as the compact layout limits battery size.
Getting started
Fully charge a suitable battery before first use, fit it as described in the manual and connect it carefully. Wind the high-capacity magazine, start with the hop-up turned off and add hop a little at a time until the BBs fly flat. Have the rifle chronographed at your site before you play, and keep a note of the hop setting that suits your favourite BB weight.

Compatibility
Use G&G ARP9 magazines for spares. The ARP9 is designed for 11.1V LiPo batteries; choose a compact pack that fits the battery space in the stock, and ask us if you are unsure. The M-LOK handguard takes standard M-LOK accessories, the top rail takes standard optic mounts, and the 14mm CCW thread fits common airsoft muzzle devices.
Care and maintenance
Disconnect and remove the battery after every game, and never store the rifle with the battery plugged in. Charge batteries with a suitable charger, never leave them charging unattended, and store them at a sensible storage charge somewhere cool and dry.
Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs, as poor or damaged BBs are the main cause of jams and hop-up wear. Clean the inner barrel regularly with a cleaning rod and a soft cloth, wipe the outside down after wet or muddy games, and keep the rifle somewhere dry between games.
An electronic trigger reads the trigger most reliably with a well-charged battery, so recharge before the battery runs very low.
Who is it for?
CQB and woodland players who want a light, handy, electronically triggered carbine, and newer players looking for a compact rifle from a well-respected brand.
Please note: Battery and charger are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection when using airsoft replicas, and check your site’s rules and power limits before play.
