Description
Galaxy G16 17 Series Full Metal Spring Pistol (G16 – Blue)
The Galaxy G16 is a full metal spring pistol from Galaxy’s 17 series, finished in blue. It takes its styling from modern duty pistols, with a squared slide and straight grip, and pairs that clean design with a simple, dependable spring action.
The blue finish is a UK coloured version that gives the G16 a distinctive look. Spring-powered and full metal, it suits newcomers, garden target shooters and anyone wanting a modern-style pistol that costs nothing to run beyond BBs.
Build and finish
Full metal construction gives the G16 a solid, weighty feel in the hand. The 17 series shape is compact and straightforward to handle, and the blue finish stands out clearly from black replicas.
How a spring pistol works
A spring pistol is the simplest kind of airsoft gun. Before each shot you pull the slide back to compress the spring and cock the pistol, then pull the trigger to release the spring and fire a single BB. There is no gas to fill and no battery to charge, so it is always ready to use and costs nothing to run beyond BBs.
Because it does not depend on gas pressure, a spring pistol behaves the same on a cold winter morning as it does on a warm summer afternoon. The cocking action also encourages careful, deliberate shooting, which makes it a good way to learn sight alignment, trigger control and safe gun handling.
Practice and target shooting
Spring pistols are ideal for target practice in the garden or at a range. Set up a target or a few cans, keep a safe backstop behind them and work on your aim at different distances. As each shot needs the slide racked, it is a relaxed, steady way to shoot and an inexpensive way to enjoy airsoft between games.

Compatibility
Uses standard 6mm airsoft BBs; good quality, lighter BBs are generally a sensible choice for spring pistols. Magazines and parts vary between models, so if you would like a spare magazine or holster, quote the exact model (G16) when ordering or ask us in the shop.
Care and maintenance
Use clean, good quality seamless 6mm BBs and never reuse dirty or dropped BBs, which can jam the gun or damage the barrel. Wipe the outside with a dry or lightly oiled cloth after use to keep the metal finish looking good, and put a drop of silicone oil on the slide rails now and then for a smooth cocking action.
Do not dry fire repeatedly, and do not leave the pistol cocked for long periods, as both put unnecessary strain on the spring. Store it unloaded, uncocked and in a dry place.
Who is it for?
A good first pistol for newcomers, a low-cost backyard target shooter, and a practical spare sidearm for anyone who wants a full metal replica without the running costs of gas.
Please note: Always wear suitable eye protection when using or around airsoft guns, and check your site’s rules before play.
