Description
Galaxy M82A1 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle with Scope and Bipod (Tan – G31CD)
The Galaxy M82A1 is a spring-powered bolt action airsoft sniper rifle styled on the Barrett M82A1, the large-calibre anti-materiel rifle known for its massive size and imposing presence. This version is finished in tan and comes with a scope and bipod, so it is ready to set up for the sniper role.
Few rifles turn heads like an M82, and the Galaxy version brings that unmistakable shape within reach of most budgets. It is a great choice for players who want a big, characterful sniper rifle, and for collectors who love oversized military replicas.
Spring bolt action
The G31 is a spring-powered bolt action. Working the bolt compresses the spring and chambers a BB; pulling the trigger releases it. There is no battery or gas, so the rifle performs the same in any weather, and running costs are limited to BBs.
Bolt action play is about patience and precision. Take your time over each shot, observe where your BB lands, and adjust your aim accordingly.
Scope and bipod
The supplied scope gives you a magnified view for spotting and engaging targets at range. Zero it at the distance you expect to engage most often, then learn how far the BB drops at other ranges.
The bipod lets you settle the rifle in a prone position or on a wall or bank, which is where a rifle of this size performs best. A stable rest takes the weight off your arms and lets you hold your aim on a lane for long periods.
Size and handling
As a replica of one of the largest rifles in service, the M82A1 is long and substantial. It is best suited to outdoor sites where you can take up a position and hold it. Plan to carry a sidearm for close-range defence, as a rifle this size is not quick to swing round in tight spaces.
The tan finish suits desert and modern loadouts, and helps the rifle blend into dry undergrowth and sandy terrain.
Upgrade potential
Galaxy’s M82A1 platform is supported by aftermarket parts, including replacement hop-up units, so there is room to tune the rifle further as your skills develop.

Compatibility
Use magazines and parts listed for the Galaxy M82A1 / G31 series. Heavier, good quality seamless BBs, such as 0.28g or more, give the best accuracy from a bolt action rifle; adjust the hop-up to suit.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the gun down after each game and keep it dry. Run a cleaning rod with a soft patch through the inner barrel from time to time to keep accuracy consistent.
Use good quality, seamless 6mm BBs; poor BBs cause jams and can damage the hop-up rubber. Avoid dry-firing too often, as firing without a BB in the chamber puts extra stress on the piston and cylinder head.
If you are storing the gun for a long period, leave it uncocked so the main spring is not held under compression.
Check the scope and bipod mounts are tight before each game, and keep the scope lenses covered when not in use.
Who is it for?
The Galaxy M82A1 suits players moving into the sniper role who want a rifle with real presence, fans of the M82 design and collectors of oversized military replicas.
Please note: BBs are not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection, and check your site’s power limits before play.
