The Gate TITAN V2 Expert Module is a drop-in electronic trigger unit and MOSFET for Version 2 AEG gearboxes, in the rear-wired configuration. It replaces the mechanical trigger contacts and selector plate with an electronic system that reads the trigger and selector with optical sensors, giving a sharper trigger response, more control over how the gun fires, and better protection for the motor and battery.

Gate is one of the leading names in airsoft electronics, and the TITAN is its best-known drop-in unit. The Expert software level unlocks the full TITAN feature set, so you can set the gun up exactly the way you want it, whether that is a fast-response CQB build, a semi-only DMR or a realistic milsim rifle with simulated reloads.

What it does

Once fitted, the TITAN controls every shot. Trigger sensitivity is adjustable and read by optical sensors, so there are no contacts to burn or wear out. Pre-cocking, automatic or manual, partially compresses the spring ready for the next shot, so the gun fires almost instantly when you press the trigger. Fire modes can include safe, semi, binary, burst, auto and semi ramping, assigned to the selector positions as you prefer.

The unit also looks after your kit. Battery protection monitors voltage to guard against over-discharging a LiPo, a Smart Fuse protects the circuit, trigger jam prevention helps avoid locked-up gearboxes, and conformal coating helps protect the electronics. Other functions include a low ammo warning, simulated reload delays for milsim realism, vibration alerts and a low-power mode.

Programming

Settings are adjusted using Gate’s GCS (Gate Control Station) software or app, which allows changes such as trigger sensitivity without stripping the gearbox. Depending on how you connect, a Gate programming accessory such as the USB-Link or programming card may be needed; these are sold separately.

Compatibility

Designed for Version 2 AEG gearboxes wired to the rear, where the battery sits in the stock. If your gun is front wired (battery in the handguard), choose the front-wired version instead. Some V2 gearbox shells from different manufacturers vary slightly, so check fit with your gun’s model before ordering. Programming accessories are sold separately.

Care and maintenance

Fitting requires opening the gearbox, so experience with AEG internals is recommended, or have it installed by a technician. After fitting, calibrate the unit as described in Gate’s instructions. Use a battery suited to your build, disconnect it when the gun is not in use, and store LiPos at storage charge. Keep the gun dry, and check for firmware updates from time to time.
