Compatibility
The Raider 2.0 is listed as compatible with standard M4 AEG magazines; fit varies slightly between brands, so test new magazines before relying on them. M-LOK accessories fit the handguard and standard 20mm accessories fit the top rail.
Choose a battery that fits the rifle’s battery space and has a small Tamiya connector, or ask us to recommend one. 0.20g to 0.25g seamless BBs are a sensible starting point; heavier BBs often suit longer barrels once the hop-up is set.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it separately, at a sensible storage charge, rather than leaving it connected inside the rifle. If you use LiPo batteries, charge them with a proper balance charger and keep them in a LiPo-safe bag, and never leave them charging unattended.
Run a cleaning rod with a lightly dampened patch through the inner barrel from time to time to remove dirt and residue, which helps keep the hop-up consistent. Use good-quality seamless BBs, never reuse BBs that have been on the ground, and wipe the outside over after damp or muddy games. Leave gearbox work, shimming and spring changes to a competent technician.
