Description
G&G Competition Grade 0.20g Red Tracer BBs – 2,400 Rounds (Bottle) (G-07-212)
These are G&G Competition Grade 6mm tracer BBs in the 0.20g weight, glowing red, supplied as a bottle of 2,400 rounds under the code G-07-212. Used with a tracer unit, every shot lights up as it leaves the barrel, so you can see exactly where your BBs are going at night, indoors and in low light.
G&G Armament is a Taiwanese airsoft manufacturer, best known for its AEGs, which also makes a wide range of BBs. Its BBs are sold in several grades, including P.S.B.P., Competition Grade, Bio and tracer, with product codes in the G-07 series.
Choosing the weight
A 0.20g BB is the usual starting weight for stock AEGs, gas pistols and spring replicas. It is light enough for replicas at typical out-of-the-box power, which is why most new players begin with it before trying anything heavier.
Lighter BBs leave the barrel faster but slow down sooner and are more easily pushed around by wind, so 0.20g is at its best indoors, in CQB and at short to medium woodland ranges.
How tracer BBs work
Tracer BBs are luminous. A tracer unit, fitted to the muzzle or built into a mock suppressor, hop-up unit or magazine, flashes light on to each BB as it leaves the replica, and the BB glows red as it flies. Watching the trail lets you see exactly where your shots are going, so you can correct your aim and fine-tune your hop-up far more quickly than with ordinary BBs.
Tracers are at their best indoors, at dusk and at night games. Without a tracer unit they can be fired like ordinary BBs, but they will not glow.
About these tracers
A retailer listing for the 0.20g green version (G-07-137) in the same range gives a designed diameter of 5.95mm with a tolerance of plus or minus 0.01mm, and says the BBs are designed for use with Tokyo Marui tracer units and G&P tracer magazines.
Why red?
Green is the most common tracer colour, and it is very bright in the dark. Red is a popular alternative for players who want a different look, or for teams who want to tell their own shots apart from the other side’s green. How bright the glow appears depends on your tracer unit and the light conditions.

Compatibility
Suitable for 6mm airsoft replicas whose power and hop-up suit a 0.20g BB. If you change weight or brand, re-adjust your hop-up and have your replica chronographed, as BB weight affects muzzle velocity and energy. Check your site’s rules on BB weight and type, as some sites ask for biodegradable BBs. To glow, these BBs need a tracer unit that works with red tracer BBs; the unit is not included.
Care and maintenance
Keep the container closed between refills and store your BBs somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. Moisture and grit are what cause most feeding problems, jams and hop-up rubber wear.
Never reuse BBs picked up from the ground, avoid mixing weights or brands in one magazine, and give magazines and speedloaders an occasional wipe so dust is not carried into the hop-up.
Who is it for?
For players with a tracer unit and a replica that suits 0.20g BBs, especially for night games, indoor sites and low-light play.
Please note: A tracer unit is not included. Always wear suitable eye and face protection when using airsoft replicas.
