Description
G&G Completed Blowback Assembly for GTP9 (GFX-A09)
This is a complete blowback assembly from G&G for its GTP9 gas blowback pistol, part code GFX-A09. The blowback assembly is the heart of a gas pistol’s action: it directs gas to fire the BB and then cycles the slide. Buying it as a completed unit is the quickest way to restore a GTP9 that is leaking, short-stroking or failing to cycle.
G&G Armament is one of the best known Taiwanese airsoft manufacturers, and buying an original G&G part is the surest way to get a correct fit and keep your replica working as it was designed to.
What it does
In a gas blowback pistol, the blowback unit sits in the slide and contains the nozzle and related parts that seal against the magazine and hop-up. When you fire, gas drives the BB forward and then pushes the slide back to cock the hammer for the next shot.
Over time the nozzle and its seals can wear or crack, particularly after heavy use or very cold days. Replacing the whole assembly avoids the fiddly work of swapping individual small parts.
Fitting
Field-strip the pistol following the manual, then remove and replace the blowback unit from the slide. It helps to take photos as you go, and to keep track of any small pins or springs.
After fitting, reassemble the pistol and check that the slide moves freely before loading a gas magazine. Test-fire at a safe backstop.

Compatibility
Designed for the G&G GTP9 gas blowback pistol. It is a model-specific part and is not intended for other pistols. If your GTP9 has been modified with aftermarket slide or barrel parts, check compatibility before fitting.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the nozzle and moving parts during reassembly, and use only silicone oil around seals. Store gas magazines with a little gas in them, and keep the pistol and magazines at room temperature before use for the best gas efficiency.
Avoid dry-firing for long periods without a magazine, and clean the pistol regularly so dirt cannot reach the nozzle or seals.
Who is it for?
This assembly is for GTP9 owners repairing a pistol that has lost gas efficiency or no longer cycles properly, and for players building a spares kit.
Please note: the pistol and magazine are not included.
