Description
G&G Firehawk FHK High Cycle Stubby (Black, EGC-16P-FHC-BNB-NCM)
The G&G Firehawk High Cycle Stubby is a very short, very fast-firing M4-style electric airsoft rifle, finished here in black. Model code EGC-16P-FHC identifies G&G’s high cycle version of the Firehawk stubby carbine, set up to deliver a very high rate of fire in full auto for close-quarters games.
G&G Armament is one of Taiwan’s best-known airsoft manufacturers, with a strong reputation for reliability, and the Firehawk is one of its most popular compact CQB rifles. Light, short and quick to point, it is built for indoor and urban sites where a short burst can decide an engagement.
Build and materials
The Firehawk uses a reinforced polymer body around a metal gearbox, keeping it light and tough. It measures around 543mm long and weighs around 2260g, which makes it ideal for moving quickly through rooms and corridors and keeps it comfortable to carry through a long day.
It has flip-up front and rear sights, a rail system for accessories and a six-position retractable stock, so you can fit it to your shoulder and still keep the rifle short. A flash hider finishes the muzzle.
Performance and internals
As a high cycle model, the Firehawk HC is designed for full auto, with internals built for a high rate of fire. The metal gearbox uses 8mm ceramic bushings, a double sector gear with an enhanced shaft and a piston with full steel teeth, which helps it cope with the stresses of fast cycling.
High cycle rifles are at their best in CQB, where a short burst can put a lot of BBs on target very quickly. Keep your bursts short and choose a battery that suits the rifle; check the manual or ask us before choosing a voltage.
Magazine
The Firehawk comes with a 300-round high-capacity magazine. As an M4-style AEG it is generally compatible with many M4/M16 AEG magazines, which is useful for a rifle that empties magazines quickly. Mid-capacity magazines in a chest rig are a popular choice for quieter, rattle-free reloads.

Compatibility
As an M4-style AEG, the Firehawk generally works with M4/M16 AEG magazines, although fit can vary between brands. The rail system accepts standard 20mm accessories. Our shop also lists a Laylax Prometheus EG inner barrel (120mm) and an Airtech Studios inner barrel stabiliser made for the G&G Firehawk; please check fit with us before ordering upgrades.
A LiPo battery suited to a high cycle rifle is recommended; check the battery space and connector before buying.
Care and maintenance
Take the battery out after every game and store it separately at a sensible storage charge, rather than leaving it connected inside the replica. Charge LiPo batteries with a proper balance charger, keep them in a LiPo-safe bag and never leave them charging unattended; NiMH packs should be charged with a smart charger that stops when the pack is full.
Run a cleaning rod with a lightly dampened patch through the inner barrel from time to time to clear dirt and residue, which keeps the hop-up consistent. Use good-quality seamless BBs, never reuse BBs that have been on the ground, and wipe the outside over after damp or muddy games. Leave gearbox work, shimming and spring changes to a competent technician.
Who is it for?
CQB and indoor players who want a short, light, extremely fast-firing rifle from a well-respected maker, and anyone wanting a compact second rifle for urban games.
Please note: Battery and charger are not listed as included. Always wear suitable eye protection, and full-face protection where your site requires it, when using or testing any airsoft replica.
