Description
GHK GKM Fire Selector (Black – GKM-04-1)
This is a genuine GHK replacement fire selector for the GKM, GHK’s AKM-style gas blowback rifle, in black with part code GKM-04-1. On an AK-pattern rifle the selector is the large lever on the right side of the receiver that moves between safe, automatic and semi-automatic, and it also covers the dust cover slot when on safe.
GHK’s GKM is well regarded for its realistic operation and strong recoil, and owners often want to keep it in top condition with official parts. A selector can be bent, worn or lost, especially after hard use or if the dust cover is removed often, and a replacement GHK part restores proper operation and the authentic look.
The AK selector
The AK selector is a long, flat lever that you push down with your trigger finger or thumb. Because it is large and exposed, it can get bent if the rifle is dropped or knocked, and a bent selector may be stiff, may not hold its positions, or may not close properly over the receiver.
Replacing it with a straight, correctly shaped GHK part makes the rifle easier and more positive to switch between modes.
Fitting
Make sure the rifle is unloaded, the magazine is out and there is no gas in it before starting. The selector is removed and refitted with the dust cover off; follow the GKM manual or an exploded parts diagram. Check that the selector clicks firmly into each position, and test the trigger on safe, semi and auto with an empty magazine before play. If you are not confident, ask a technician to fit it.

Care and maintenance
Wipe the selector clean after muddy or wet games and keep a light film of oil on it to prevent marking. Avoid forcing the lever if it becomes stiff; clean and inspect it instead.
Store gas rifles with the magazines holding a little gas to keep the seals healthy, but never store a magazine in the rifle.
Who is it for?
GHK GKM owners who need to replace a bent, worn or lost selector, and anyone keeping their GKM in original condition.
Please note: Rifle not included. Always wear suitable eye protection when using airsoft replicas.
