Golden Eagle 9″ Keymod RIS (Gas – Black – MC6641)
This Golden Eagle rifle pairs the familiar M4 layout with a 9 inch Keymod handguard and runs on gas, giving you the moving bolt and recoil of a gas blowback rifle. It is finished in black and carries the code MC6641; Golden Eagle’s MC codes are used for its gas blowback rifles, while the electric version of this 9 inch Keymod design is sold as the F6641.
A gas blowback rifle (GBBR) is the choice for players who want their rifle to behave more like the real thing: the bolt carrier cycles with every shot, you feel a kick in the shoulder, and reloading and manipulating the controls is more involved and rewarding. Golden Eagle rifles offer that experience at an approachable price.
Keymod handguard
The 9 inch Keymod handguard keeps the front end slim and light while still giving you plenty of mounting points. Keymod rail sections bolt on exactly where you want them, so you can add a light, laser, vertical grip or hand stop without carrying a fully railed handguard. The continuous top rail gives room for a red dot or magnified optic and backup sights.
A 9 inch handguard is a good middle ground: long enough for a comfortable forward grip, short enough to keep the rifle handy indoors and around vehicles.
How a gas blowback rifle works
The gas is stored in the magazine. When you fire, gas both propels the BB and drives the bolt carrier back, giving the felt recoil and sound that make gas rifles so popular. Because the gas does all the work, there is no battery to charge.
Gas rifles are affected by temperature: performance is best in mild weather and drops off on cold days, so keep spare magazines warm in an inside pocket during winter games.
Getting started
Fill the magazine with the correct gas, holding the can upright and filling in short bursts. Let the magazine settle for a minute, load your BBs and fire a few test shots with the hop-up off, then add hop gradually until the BBs fly flat.
Get the replica chronographed at your site before play. In cold weather, keep spare magazines warm in an inside pocket for the most consistent performance.

Compatibility
Use magazines made for Golden Eagle M4 gas blowback rifles; gas rifle magazines are not interchangeable between brands, and AEG magazines will not work, so please check before buying spares.
The handguard accepts Keymod rail sections and Keymod accessories; Picatinny-mount accessories need a Keymod rail section first. Use a good quality airsoft gas suited to the rifle, following the manual’s guidance on gas type.
Care and maintenance
Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine’s fill valve and seals every few fills, and store magazines with a little gas in them so the seals stay tight. Do not overfill, and let magazines warm up to room temperature in cold weather rather than heating them.
Wipe the moving parts and the outer barrel with a thin film of silicone oil now and then, clean the inner barrel with a rod and patch, and use good quality seamless BBs. Never use petroleum-based oils on the seals.
