The Golden Eagle AR4168 is an AR-style electric airsoft rifle with a polymer body, finished in black and supplied with a battery and charger. It is a complete starter package: charge the battery, add BBs and eye protection and you are ready for your first game.
Golden Eagle builds affordable rifles aimed at newer players, and the polymer body keeps both the weight and the price down. A lighter rifle is easier to carry through a long day and suits younger players or anyone who finds heavier metal replicas tiring.
Build and handling
The polymer body is tough enough for regular skirmishing while keeping the rifle light. The AR layout means the controls are familiar to most players and the rifle is easy to learn, and the black finish goes with any loadout.
A lighter rifle is also easier to bring up to the shoulder quickly and to manoeuvre in woodland and around buildings, which makes a real difference to new players who are still building their stamina.
Ready to play

Getting started
Fully charge a suitable battery before first use, then fit it as described in the manual and connect it carefully. Load a magazine, wind it if it is a high-capacity type, and start with the hop-up turned off. Fire a few shots at a safe target and add hop a little at a time until the BBs fly flat without rising at the end of their flight.
Have the rifle chronographed at your site before you play, and keep a note of the hop setting that suits your favourite BB weight so you can return to it quickly.

Compatibility
Please check with us before buying spare magazines, so we can confirm which types fit this rifle. If you upgrade the supplied battery, check the battery space and connector first. Use good quality seamless 6mm BBs.
Care and maintenance
Unplug and remove the battery after use, store LiPos in a fire-safe bag, and charge them on a balance charger you are watching. Keep the inner barrel clean with a rod and patch, because a dirty barrel or hop-up rubber is the most common cause of poor grouping.
Use good quality, polished BBs and avoid reusing BBs picked up from the floor. Keep the rifle dry, check all external screws now and then, and leave internal servicing to someone who knows AEGs well.
